Introducing the April Repete Pet of the Month: Roo! 🐾

Roo is a sweet rescue dog who found her forever home five years ago. She was the first dog her human parents met in person with the hope of adopting, and she immediately jumped into both their laps—winning their hearts on the spot. Believed to be a terrier mix, Roo is around 7 years old and was named for her kangaroo-like appearance, with her tan fur, big ears, and strong muscles.

She could spend all day basking in the sun and sniffing around the yard if given the chance. When she’s not soaking up the sunshine, she loves nothing more than tearing apart her toys—though it took some time to learn how to play with them. As a rescue, she didn’t quite know how to be a dog at first, but she gradually figured it out and now embraces every squeak and shred!

Roo is a foodie at heart and never turns down a treat, but her absolute favorites are Greenies, cheese, and Chick-fil-A. Thunderstorms and loud noises, on the other hand, send her searching for a safe spot to hide. She is a huge fan of everyone she meets, enjoying for love and attention, but is still very unsure of other dogs.

Roo is the biggest cuddler, always wanting to touch one of her people while lying on the couch. She even puts her paw on your arm when getting pets, showing her love. She rarely barks, but if mom or dad doesn’t get up fast enough to take her outside, you’ll hear her voice.
