Introducing The Repete Pet of the Month for November: Jade 🐱

Jade is a striking 17-year-old black and white cat with a personality as unique as her years. While she may be a “crotchety old lady” now, Jade’s younger days were filled with boundless energy. She was known to climb door frames, race around like a little maniac, and even playfully “attack” her owners as they settled in bed. Though never much of a lap cat, Jade’s playful antics brought endless amusement.

As the years have gone by, Jade has mellowed into her role as the household elder, choosing cozy spots for naps. She’s now particularly fond of settling between someone’s legs on the couch or curling up on a chest in bed, offering her companionship as her owners read or drift off to sleep. Her beautiful jade-green eyes, the inspiration for her name, still hold the spark of a younger cat.

Despite her age, Jade has not lost her hunting skills. Just a couple of weeks ago, she brought a mouse into bed as a “gift” for her unsuspecting owners. In addition to being the reigning queen of the home, Jade has also been a source of comfort to her owner during his journey through chemo. Her presence, whether curled up nearby or offering her calm companionship, has been a cherished relief.
