Pet of the Month: July

Introducing the July Pet of the Month: Lily!

Lily is a 2½-year-old Highlander cat with a unique story and even more unique charm. She joined her family at just six months old, weighing only three pounds—half of what she should have weighed at that age—and struggling with an eye infection that kept one eye completely closed. After undergoing eye surgery and receiving plenty of cuddles from her sibling and adoptive family, Lily quickly settled in and claimed her rightful place as queen of the house.

Though her eye will always remain cloudy and slightly deformed, it doesn’t slow her down. Lily is also polydactyl, sporting extra “toe beans” that only add to her personality.

Her favorite pastimes include birdwatching, knocking items off counters, stealing bows from presents, and dropping little treasures into her family’s shoes. While she enjoys everyone’s company, she especially loves perching on her mom’s shoulder—doing her best impression of a pirate’s parrot.

Lily is even somewhat leash-trained and recently made a special visit to the Repete Sussex office. Full of sass, sweetness, and curiosity, she keeps her family smiling every day.
