Repete is proud to provide automated feed mill control systems worldwide and to have forged a strong partnership with Cargill, one of the world’s giants in the food and agriculture arena. As part of Cargill’s ever-expanding portfolio, Cargill is introducing a state-of-the-art new facility in Hedrick, Iowa to support over 100 local hog farms and produce 350,000 tons of feed annually. A feed mill this large encompasses a lot of steps to get to the end product, and with a plan to run 24-hours-a-day and 6-days-a-week, there is no room for system crashes or downtime in the process. To accomplish this seamless automation, Cargill turned to Repete’s FLX Platform, a highly intelligent automation system that will allow them to incorporate the entire enterprise into a singular solution.
